（一）摩机大忌
　　笔者天时地利人和，拥有多部前后级胆机，  包括Marantz，McIntosh，Fisher，RCA，Harman  Kardon，Quad，Dynaco，Scott等名厂古董机。闲时将它们搬出来试听，好听的便好好收藏，不好听的便将机壳拆开，将里面的零件：例如电容、电阻，其至变压器等更换，边换边听，过足“摩机”之乐。此地发烧友甚少如此，因名机摩过之后，改了头换了面，再出让时价钱便“水瓜打狗，少了一截”。如果你手多多，在机壳外做了手脚，例如将RCA插换做镀金的，将外露的电容加码，你会被行家骂得狗血淋漓，说你不尊重前人制品，把大好的一件古董弄得像个“四不像”。入乡随俗，我虽然喜欢摩机，也不敢轻举妄动，把我这个“摩机佬”搅到痕痒无比。无比膏又不能止痒，思前想后，既然手上有大量优质零件，共么UTC牛，维他命Q／油浸电容， 名牌真空管，西电零件等都式式俱备，为甚么不由零开始，大胆自制扩音机。
　  (二)想当年
   少年时代亦曾制作了若干部土炮，部份零件仍在。记得当年机壳是亲手用铝片屈成，用手摇钻及开孔器(Socket Punch)开孔，虽然使用的零件不是上品，但制成品总算有声有色。我自出娘胎以来就有“不满现实”这个缺点，制成品多听几次总觉得有点不是味儿，思前想后又想制另一部。难怪家人说我“有自晤在，
